Q: Do I need to get more than one estimate, or can I just go with one?

A: Just one if you want. Oregon Law states you may have your vehicle repaired at the body shop of your choice.

 

Q: How do I set up an insurance claim?

A: When you drop your vehicle off at our shop, we will contact your insurance for you. We will communicate this entire process with you, making sure we choose an option we can guarantee.

 

Q: How long will it take to fix my vehicle?

A: An estimated time will be given to you with your written estimate, as we do focus on getting our repairs done in a timely manner. However, if hidden damages are discovered during the repair process, your completion date may need to be revised. Our team will be sure to communicate with you through the entire process.

 

Q: How will I know when my repairs are finished?

A: Salem Auto Body & Paintworks will contact you via your choice of communication when your car is ready to be picked up.

 

Q: How do I care for my freshly painted vehicle?

A: Do not wax the car in the first six weeks, only handwashing for the first two weeks. When you do decide to clean the body of your vehicle, be sure to use soap and wax made for auto paints. Along with this, let your car dry by itself, rather than wiping it dry to avoid scratching the paint.

 

Q: How much is it for a paint job?
